Life Replay

Life Replay is a short text life simulator. You begin by distributing 20 points across looks, brains, fitness and family, then choose one of three randomly drawn talents. From there, every click advances a year and writes the next line of your life.

Events are drawn from a pool that changes with age: childhood accidents, school triumphs, first jobs, relationships, burnout, retirement and the occasional piano falling from a window. Stats feed back into the story — a high-brains character sees different opportunities than a high-family one, and a rare combination opens a hidden cultivation path with its own five-stage ending.

A run lasts a few minutes and ends with a title, a life score and a short list of defining moments. The best score is stored locally, so the next life starts with something to beat.

How to play Life Replay

• Spend all 20 points across Looks, Brains, Fitness and Family. Each attribute starts at 1 and caps at 10.
• Pick one of three talents. Reroll once if none of them fit the life you want.
• Press Next Year to advance. Each year can bring one or two events, and every event changes your stats or your story.
• Keep health above zero and see how long you last. Rare choices can lead to a much longer path.

Tips & strategy

A life is a build. Decide what you are optimizing for before you spend the first point.

• Family is the best early investment if you want money; it sets your starting wealth and cushions bad years.
• Fitness raises starting health and slows aging, which is the simplest way to reach an old age.
• Brains unlocks scholarship and hidden-path events, but it will not save you from a bad sandwich.
• Looks raises starting happiness and some social events; it is a comfort stat, not a win condition.
• Keep at least a few points in Family — poverty events hurt more when you have no cushion.
• If you see a strange old man or a warm book, take the path. The cultivation ending is the rarest one.
