Rope Snack is a physics puzzle game about cutting ropes at the right moment. A sunberry hangs from one or more ropes above a hungry jungle blob named Munch. Swipe across a rope to cut it, then let gravity, momentum and bubbles do the rest.
Each level is a small physics problem: a pendulum that must be released at the end of its swing, two ropes that cancel each other out, a bubble that lifts the fruit back up, or a drop through a gap in the thorns. The first cut is easy; the three stars usually require a better line.
Eight hand-built levels run in the browser on desktop and mobile. Progress and star ratings are stored locally, so you can replay a level to collect the stars you missed.
How to play Rope Snack
- Swipe or drag across a rope to cut it. A simple tap on a rope also works.
- Guide the sunberry into Munch's open mouth. Gravity and momentum do most of the work.
- Tap a bubble while it is holding the sunberry to pop it and drop the fruit.
- Collect all three stars in a level. Finish a level to unlock the next one.
Tips & strategy
Every level is a timing problem. Watch the swing before you cut.
- A rope only pulls when it is taut; the fruit keeps its momentum when you cut.
- At the end of a swing the fruit is momentarily still, so a cut there drops it straight down.
- If two ropes hold the fruit, cutting both at once usually drops it straight.
- Bubbles rise slowly. Pop them once the fruit is lined up with the mouth.
- Stars are optional for finishing a level, but they are the only reason to replay one.
- Use the restart button freely; the level is deterministic, so the same cut gives the same result.
