Tower Stack 3D is the classic stacking game rebuilt in Three.js. A block slides back and forth over the tower, and one tap drops it. The part that overhangs is cut away, so the next block is narrower than the last.
Precision is rewarded: a near-perfect drop keeps the full block size and flashes a PERFECT combo, while a sloppy drop permanently shrinks your landing area. The tower rises, the camera follows, and the blocks cycle through a neon hue palette.
There is no timer and no second input — just timing. Runs usually last between ten and fifty blocks, and the best height is stored locally.
How to play Tower Stack 3D
- Press Start, then tap, click or press Space to drop the moving block.
- The block slides back and forth over the tower; drop it as close to centred as you can.
- Overhang is sliced off, making the next block smaller.
- Missing the tower ends the run. The score is the number of blocks stacked.
Tips & strategy
Stacking is a rhythm game. The block speed is constant, so timing beats reaction.
- Watch the block's leading edge, not its centre; that is the part that decides the overlap.
- Drop slightly before you think it is centred — the block keeps moving during the tap.
- A small overhang is fine. Chasing a perfect drop early often produces a bigger miss.
- As the tower narrows, slow your rhythm down rather than speeding up.
- PERFECT drops keep the full block size; a run with several perfects can last twice as long.
- If the tower becomes a sliver, restart. A clean run scores higher than a lucky recovery.
